Blackwater Lodge was established in 1971 based on the former railway station of the village of Ballyduff which closed in 1967. Blackwater Lodge is an informal, comfortable lodge-style hotel in a magnificent location overlooking the world-famous Munster Blackwater - one of Europe’s most spectacular salmon rivers. It’s a no-nonsense, friendly place, where the comfort and enjoyment of salmon anglers is the top priority -truly a specialist sporting lodge.
