A family-owned business established in 1987, is to provide a comfortable, informal home-away-from-home experience for each of our guests.
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
We have been in business for 25 years. Build the lodge and business from scratch.
2. What is your company's mission?
We offer all inclusive fishing trips to the Kenai, Kasilof rivers for salmon and halibut trips in Cook Inlet. We pride ourselves in ensuring each guest leaves the lodge feeling like a part of our family. Our all-inclusive packages and comfortable accommodations provide a home-away-from-home experience for each of our guests.
3. What does your company specialize in?
We do small groups of up to 20 but accommodate singles, couples or family groups.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Roger and Marlene are the owners and founders. Roger has been fishing the rivers and salt water of Cook inlet for over 30 years. He was an manager of an office product store before starting the fishing lodge. Marlene is a retired high school principal who now does the cooking and baking and takes care of the day to day operations.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Our most popular packages is our five nights, four days package. It includes two river trips, one halibut trip and one fly out option. It give people a great deal of variety to experience different areas of Alaska and different types of fishing in a single trip.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
Our best compliment is customers that return year and after year. They become like family and good friends.
