1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
It started in 1966. After a fire in 1995 the south wing and the Executive House were destroyed. It was rebuilt and completed in 1998 and the present owners purchased it in 2000. It has undergone several remodelings and updates since. A new heated pool was installed in 2007. Recently painted in 2011. Electrics and plumbing were redone. We have preserved the original 60's era bathrooms and the character of the place as much as possible. A traditional Florida resort. A Heritage property. Every condo has a unique decorative theme such as Hawaii, Santa Fe, Oriental, Africa, English Cottage, etc. The tropical gardens are maintained in a "jungly" feel that guests just love. After all that is what Florida is all about. Huge rubber trees, exotic banana and mango trees, and all manner of rain forest plants. The City of Treasure Island awarded us a plaque for our landscaping.
2. What is your company's mission?
To provide guests with an authentic traditional Florida Resort vacation experience. We take you back to the age of juke boxes, corner soda shops and Buick Roadmaster wood panelled station wagons ("Woodies"). We have preserved this property as an authentic heritage experience of "old Florida" in an age of McHotels and fast food dining. This is a unique, one of a kind property.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Authentic Florida condominium vacation rentals at the affordable price of a budget hotel room. PLUS beaches and sunshine and family fun!
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Jeffrey and Sharda. From South Africa and England respectively. Both are world travellers. We have always enjoyed family owned inns and authenticity over big box chain hotels. We want to share our passion with others. The theme of the rooms are from places where we have either lived or love to visit.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
The biggest compliment are return guests. We have many fans. Parents love to bring their kids to re-create the experience of when they were kids and they came to Florida with their parents. There were no chain hotels back then. The tradition continues.
