Sandy Point Lodge is on a pristine Canadian Shield lake with a very healthy fishery and is beautifully situated in a secluded bay of the lake, nestled among the spruce, birch and pine. We are open from early June to mid September. The lodge is remote and solitary, it can only be reached by float plane in the summer months and it is the only fishing outfitter or lodge on the entire lake. Sandy Point Lodge is located 60 miles (100 km) northeast of Yellowknife, the capital of the Northwest Territories. Gordon Lake is 30 miles (50 km) long with over eight hundred islands and plenty of productive fish habitat. Since there is no other lodge on the lake, you have privacy and freedom to find your own secret fishing hole. |
