The M14202 is the perfect example of a Château-Hotel, unusual in its architecture and furnishings, cozy in its size, yet equipped with all the convenience of a 4 star hotel. A Relais & Châteaux member, the M14202 is an historic Renaissance Castle from 1520, which has been completely renovated in 1989. It was the headquarter of the Protestant during the religion war in 1560.
Situated among the Vouvray vineyards, 10 minutes away from Amboise, it has its own parkland with century old trees and French garden. Situated on the top of a slight hill, it overlooks the peaceful village of Noizay and its church.
Extremely attractive and charming, the M14202 only has 19 rooms, 14 of them are located inside the Château and the remaining 5 in the Clock House building. A wide wooden staircase climbs to the first floor, the walls are bare stone, but adorned with tapestries and armors, the windows by tainted glasses. |
