Diving is not only about being in the water, it also provides opportunities to meet people, go places and do things. With this in mind, we have created ‘Dive School’ to encourage not only diving in new and exciting areas, but also the social aspect. We are keen to offer diving in various locations, from quarries to the sea and foreign trips abroad. Non-divers are also welcome, since we hold regular social events for all, such as bowling, meals out, outings and holidays.
Our Members Noticeboard:
Nick Wright – Instructor. I dived the Zenobia in Cyprus and it was amazing. Complete with cargo, I was able to swim between trucks and lorries and navigate my way through the bridge and onto the deck, past the massive anchors. Brilliant!
Matt Webster – Instructor. Dive called the Malbury - concrete floating platoons used in the D-Day landings. Great viz, and the fish life was the best I’ve ever seen in the UK. Loads of lobsters and shoals of fish (Jamie Oliver eat your heart out). Pucker!
Sarah Wilcock – Divemaster. Salem Express in Egypt. It’s a ferryship, lying on its port (left) side. We were lucky enough to see some small reef sharks and mantas. Fantastic wreck, great holiday, great group of divers and friends. Good time was had by all!
Catherine Jones – Open Water Diver. Having just recently qualified, I was lucky enough to have a drift dive down in Weymouth. It was my first ocean dive and the sea life on the reef was amazing! I am so lucky to have been able to see what most people never get the chance to.
We have established a UK - wide Network to provide alternative recreational sports and employment to members of the Forces. Being a recognised supplier, we offer complete packages ranging from recreational diving certifications, through to enhanced instructor levels. With complete programmes run in-house or at approved locations, we offer an inclusive training package making the most of funding opportunities available. |
