1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
Since 1999. After socializing with the top yacht charter broker for a couple of years I decided to enter this fascinating business.
2. What is your company's mission?
To make profit, like all companies but an element that ispires me is to help my country ( Greece) do better in the tourism field.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Yacht charters, sailing holidays cruises and land arrangements (hotel bookings, holiday planning, transfers, car rentals etc)
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Founder and owner of the company is George Karahalios, a mass media communications expert and senior political strategist in Greece.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Weekly sailing holidays starting and ending in an Athens port/marina and visiting the Saronic & Argolic Gulf islands and the small Cyclades group of islands.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
This summer of 2011 a Spanish client with a large family told my associate in Barcelona that their yachting holiday in Greece was their best holiday ever in their lives. Huge compliment for a rich person (all his daughters and wife & friends said the same thing).
