M14307 was originally called Ron and Tucker Mills Outfitting and established by Ron Mills in 1977. Due to the Canyon Creek fire of 1988, we relocated our camps, expanded, and have much more to offer now to offer our guests.
Our season begins with summer scenic and fishing trips in June. We take a variety of summer trips through July and August, concluding our season in the first week of September. All of the trips are horseback wilderness pack in trips. We cover most of the Bob Marshall Wilderness with the trips, starting our first in the Dearborn River area (this is in the southern end of the "Bob"), and finish with our last trip in White River. White River is right in the geographical heart of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. These trips take guests into some of the most beautiful unspoiled country left in the world. Summer trips offer splendid camps, great cooking, awesome scenery and good company. And it is all done the old fashioned way…on horseback! Also offered for the sportsman is great fishing opportunities on the Dearborn, Sun and White Rivers.
Our guests fly in to Great Falls, Montana. It is best to arrive at the Great Falls airport no later than mid-day of the day before you trip. We arrange to pick you up and bring you to Augusta for no charge. There are two hotels in Augusta and reservations can be made to accommodate you the night before the trip and the night we return from the trip. The cost of the hotel is the guest's responsibility. We will also return you to the airport in Great Falls at the conclusion of you pack trip with no charge. Upon booking a trip with us we will send you a questionnaire concerning your travel plans. We will also have considerable phone correspondence with you to ensure there is not any confusion.
