1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
We've been offering outdoor adventure on Canada's lake Superior coast and her adjacent headwaters since 1994. We started the business following a sea kayak trip on the Pukaskwa coastline a truly spectacular and wilderness section of Lake Superior. Our location right on Superior at the mouth of the Michipicoten River is perfect for sea kayak, canoe and 36 ft Voyageur Canoe trips on Canada's Lake Superior Coast.
2. What is your company's mission?
Offer stellar outdoor adventure silent sports on Canada's Lake Superior Coast and her adjacent headwaters. At our lodge to offer great accommodations and Experience Superior learning workshops.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Novice - Advanced Sea Kayak trips on Superior; certified sea kayak and canoe instruction; and 36 ft Voyageur Canoe tours.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Founder David Wells originally a forester. Started the company after a sea kayak trip from Hattie Cove, Pukaskwa Park to Michipicoten Bay, Superior's longest stretch of wilderness.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
One of our weekly escapes to Michipicoten Island, Denison Falls, Lake Superior Park or the Slate Islands because the trip is designed for advanced novice to Intermediate paddlers and travel through quite spectacular landscapes rich in history. Learning is a focus and there is lots of time to get to know others and enjoy savoury fresh wilderness campsite meals.
