President and founder of teh company, Don Shapray has enjoyed the opportunity to teach over 4,000 students to improve their sailing skills from rank novices to experienced yacht racers, who wished to improve their overall proficiency in sail handling.
Don owned the largest sailing academy in Southern California with 80 yachts in the fleet for many years in the 1970's, as well as the largest and finest academy in Houston, Texas in the 1980's, which attracted sailors and would be sailors from all over the southwestern US to enjoy Learn to Sail vacation weekends in Galveston Bay and offshore.
