Established in 1957, LC is Canada’s first public community college. Today, it has grown to a thriving educational centre of over 7,000 students. The College is home to nationally-acclaimed sports teams and award-winning instructors, and boasts a facility complete with recreation facilities, a library and media centre, restaurant, cafeteria and dining room, bookstore, counseling services, and computers laboratories.
The College is a member of the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC), the Canada Language Council (CLC) and the Canadian Bureau of International Education (CBIE). As you will see, Lethbridge College has it all from academic English courses through to university transfer.
