Meryl van der Merwe and Jane Diesel founded M15172 in 1996. Meryl has extensive business experience and Jane an academic background in EFL teaching/teacher training. Meryl has spent many years in Human Resources Management in large and medium-sized companies and has lectured on personnel and management development programs. Meryl is a qualified and experienced TEFL teacher and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the school. Travel, food and wine take up any free time! Jane has taught English to business people, parliamentarians and students at schools and universities. She has trained English teachers in South Africa and Russia and has designed business, TEFL/TESOL and study-skills program. Jane heads inlingua’s team of qualified and experienced teachers. Interests include landscape photography, travel and wine.
M15172 is a member of inlingua International (Switzerland) with 300 centres in 30 countries, LCCIIQ (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry International Qualifications) and a founder member of ELTASA (English Language Travel Association of South Africa). Situated in a beautiful, historic building at the Waterfront, it is a small (max 60 students), professional and truly international organisation known for its quality and service. |
