M15390 was inspired by a team of sailors, divers, biologists and environmentalists who were brought together by their love of sea and nature. Our primary objective is the study and protection of the marine world and the raising of awareness on environmental issues. In order to support our goal, we have formed a number of eco activities involving: sailing, diving & exploring unique species.
When Tahita, our sailing boat, isn't chartered, we sail around cleaning beaches, recycling or giving a helping hand to researchers and organizations in their efforts to study and protect the environment and wild life.
Our scientist team is headed by Dr. Panayiotis Pafilis. He's currently among other things teaching in the Aegean University. His great interest and expertise lies on environmental physiology and insular ecology in Mediterranean ecosystems.
Our scuba diving team is headed by Dive Instructor, Nassos Zervopoulos. Nassos started diving in 1997. In 2002 he became a Divemaster and a bit later an Instructor. Nassos is also an underwater photographer (PADI & SDI) and a Technical Diver. He's qualified for Advanced Nitrox Diving (TDI), Decompression Procedures Diving (TDI), and currently he's training in entry level and advanced Trimix.
