Hi Ivor,

Especially appreciated getting to places we wouldn't have know existed without you. Regards from both of us – and all the best to Betty also.

Dear Ivor,
I want to thank you for a wonderful trip. Your research and planning were impressive. We saw so much, much more than we expected, and in such comfort! To locate so many churches, and to organize visits to them, must have taken a lot of time, as well as experience and care. We enjoyed staying in the ... view more different hotels. And, last but not least, we enjoyed the pleasure of your company. I hope that we will be able to
have another trip with you soon. My box of Christmas ornaments arrived (all intact)last week. That was a very successful shopping.
I hope that you and your wife had a pleasant time in Norway.
Again, thank you.
Best regards,
Jane Lipton

5  Evelyn Strawn Touring in Norway
Thank you again for planning and implementing a wonderful tour of Norway. I just got this e-mail from Conner's father. I thought you might be interested in his comments: While you may think that Norway was not the place for a 14-year old, he was babbling non-stop most times we spoke with him and he babbled ... view more the whole way home from the airport, even though he was dog-tired. He chose the venue and I know he has absolutely no regrets. In the car last night, he called this trip "the chance of a lifetime" and he said that this trip was the only way he'd ever see that country. I know that Jackie and I commented (more than once) about Conner's descriptions of the scenery and how awestruck he was by it. These aren't the words that we expected to come out of our son's mouth. We expected comments on the food, how the locals speak, what the locals look like, but instead he was consumed with the magnitude of the country and the scenery. He has even saved a picture of some glacier as the background on his cell phone.

We are going to start looking thru his pictures tonight. He says he has over 450 so we'll see. He is concerned that the pics won't do the scenery justice since it is so expansive, so we'll figure a way to look at them on the big screen. He actually said the food was incredible and the fish was to-die-for. He loves fish. He was also very impressed by the size of the local population -said they were all HUGE people with lots of people taller and bigger than him. He also has expressed, multiple times, that EVERY girl his age was gorgeous. Sounds like he might want to go back...Funny, I don't remember that he was looking at the girls. Who knew? Hope you have a chance to catch your breath at some point this summer.
Thank you again.
Evelyn
