1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
It's not always easy in everyday life to find enough quiet time to be creative and mindful. We sometimes need space and silence in a safe, supportive environment. This is why we opened the doors of M15436 in 2006. To share this unique location with other creative, like minded people.
2. What is your company's mission?
We want to offer a possibility, a unique and special location for creative people; mostly writers but also painters and those seeking time to step back, re-evaluate or just think in a place that is calm and serene.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Writing is our biggest passion. We organize writing retreats and holidays, have set up a website for short story and organize a yearly writing competition.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Mariel and Philip founded M15436 in 2006. They are Dutch and English and have lived as writers in many different countries in Europe.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Our writing retreat is the most popular activity we organize. Our formula works. We take writing extremely serious and create an atmosphere and environment in which writers are stimulated and motivated. We also have a lot of fun and many 'aha erlebnis' moments! Most of guests go home with much more progress made on their work, than they ever could have anticipated. And more healthy and fit too, because of the swimming and the yoga!
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
You are dealing in happiness. That is what you offer people.
