M15472 and Waterton Outdoor Adventures are part of a family owned & operated business that has been providing quality visitor services to Waterton's visitors since 1922. We are located in the alpine village of Waterton, inside Waterton Lakes National Park.
The original historic building was originally established by George Baker in the 1920's as a 9 bay Esso gas station, truck depot for the Park Transport Company, the Alberta Government Telephone exchange, and a General Motors car dealership. The Cameron Lake Bungalow Camp offices were also based out of the Tamarack. The original historic building has been preserved and the interior has been retrofitted into a 5000 sq.ft. outfitting store, which includes outdoor gear, apparel, footwear, hikers market, currency services, hiker shuttle services, and guide services. These operations continue to be owned and operated by 5th generation family members of the Baker family. |
