Safety: We are proud of our impeccable safety record and we ensure it remains so by strict adherence to safety rules, by using state-of-the-art equipment and by refresher courses for our operations team. We have a comprehensive First Aid kit at the camp and we carry a First Aid kit on all our adventure trips.
Team: The 50-member SLA team comprising experienced rafters, kayakers, climbers and naturalists is one of the most professional teams in India. Four of our outdoor instructors have over 15 years of adventure experience while two are qualified mountaineering instructors. Our complete outdoor team is trained and certified every year in First Aid and CPR.
“Eco Logical”: Our efforts on environmental conservation include the use of solar energy and we use solar cookers and solar lanterns in our operations. Eco-friendly toilets and sensible disposal of camp litter are integral parts of our operations.
Corporate Requirements: Our experience with the corporate sector has made us aware of the corporate requirements during an Outdoor Management Development Programme and Adventure and Nature Conferences. We understand that it is importance of reading the guests and offering the level of challenge that would enable them to widen their comfort zone.
Camping in Comfort: Without taking away from the essential nature of camping, we do try and enhance the comfort level of our guests. Every tent is equipped with comfortable beds, linen, towels, mineral water etc. Utmost emphasis is given on personalised service. In fact, it was because of all this and more that the International Young Presidents Organization, who visited our camp, rated us 9.8 out of 10.
Cuisine: In spite of the remote location, we are proud of our menu and the various fresh items it offers. An ex Taj chef is in charge of our F& B services and we give top priority to hygiene while preparing the delicious food served in camp. It is generally a combination of Indian, Continental and Chinese food. Fruit and vegetables are obtained locally. We provide mineral water in the tents. The water in the dining area is boiled and filtered. |
