We are nearby Mount Katahdin Baxter Park Maine for those who enjoy hiking and getting close to nature. Fabulous home cooked vegetarian meals, massages, small yoga classes, sauna and jacuzzi in an uncrowded environment add a semi-private spa feel to your retreat. Our company is a great place for small groups, families, friends and singles!
Donna, Amrita has been teaching Kundalini Yoga, in New York since 1985 and in a retreat setting since 1997 in northern Maine. Donna has released two Kundalini Yoga DVD's "The Awakening" and "Flexibility and the Spine" in addition to her yoga video "The Challenge".
Our company has been listed Top Ten by Travel & Leisure, as well as USA today and InStyle. The atmosphere lends itself to relaxation including sauna and massage therapy. The retreat is open during the summer & fall season from July 4th through October.
Kundalini Yoga, Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga practice, breathing techniques and relaxation techniques are all offered. The beautiful nature and wildlife of northern Maine, canoeing, swimming, hiking, biking and porch sitting are also available!
Donna has produced one Kundalini Yoga video, and two DVD's. She has been featured in myriad national magazines including Glamour, Bride, GQ, Family Circle, Yoga Journal, Mademoiselle, Seventeen, and on radio and television, as well as doing National Fitness Tours. In the summer of 1997, Donna opened a Yoga Retreat in northern Maine in an idyllic and historic family home. |
