M15872 was established in 1992 in respond to the growing demand for action and adventure rides, and has been successful in developing the popular sport of white water rafting. Our base of operation is situated in Northern Iceland about 300 km away from Reykjavik in a small village called Varmahlið. We are easily accessible via the ringroad no.1., you may take the scheduled bus from Akureyri or Reykjavik or by domestic flights from Reykjavik to Sauðárkrókur.
Skagafjörður is especially well suited for rafting because of the number of available rivers. We run 4 different rafting trips on 3 different rivers which fit to anyone from children to grandparents. Our youngest participant was four and our oldest participant was eightysix years old.
Our toughest river and one of the best river for hardcore rafting in Europe. This is an exhilarating whitewater ride down the magnificent East River Canyon.
