M15875 has been set up by cycle tourers, for cycle tourers. We have extensive knowledge of bike touring in New Zealand, gained through tens-of-thousands of kilometers cycling all the routes we recommend. We have used the knowledge we have gained to put together these self-guided tour routes because we think they offer the best experience of the spectacular scenery and unique culture that New Zealand has to offer.

One of the key differences between our company and other bike tour companies is the quality of the accommodation and friendliness of the hosts. We carefully check all accommodation to ensure the best possible experience for all our customers. We firmly believe that half your holiday experience is made by the friendly local people you meet.

Our aim is to provide you with the service and equipment that give you a unique and trouble-free experience in the world's premier cycle touring destination. Due to repeated requests we have now developed a range of supported and guided tours. As experienced cyclists, these are the bikes, equipment and cycling tours we would want to do if we were visiting New Zealand. We look forward to meeting you and showing you around our country.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

M15875 started in 2002, when Paul and Kim returned to New Zealand after touring round Europe and realised the potential of the NZ countryside

2. What is your company's mission?

We aim to meet the needs of anyone considering New Zealand as a cycling destination. As experienced cyclists, these are the bikes and equipment we would want to use if we were visiting New Zealand, and as New Zealanders we can assure you that these are the best cycling tour routes, best accommodation and the best bikes you will find.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We specialize in self-guided bike touring, but also have a full range of guided bicycle tours available.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Paul Kelly and Kim Whittaker are the owners if ICTNZ. They are keen cyclists and have extensive knowledge of bike touring in the South Island of New Zealand, gained through tens-of-thousands of kilometres cycling all the routes we recommend.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

I we had to choose one tour as the most popular it would have to be our 10 Day Queenstown and West Coast Luxury Guided Bike Tour. A luxury group cycle tour of the southern West Coast to Queenstown is a great way to experience some of New Zealand's most magnificent scenery. An initial relaxing Tranzalpine train journey to the West Coast from Christchurch allows for an easy beginning, and the low gradient of coastal roads to the glacier region (Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers) offers a gentle cycle tour warm up. The spectacular views and varied countryside combine to make this an incredible exprience.
