We are a family run business now in our 27th year. We offer a unique selection of gentle and NOT so gentle cycling and walking holidays in England and Scotland,UK. We are also known for the very high quality of hotels we use on our tours. We feature the Cotswolds and Oxford, The New Forest, The River Thames from its source to Windsor and London, Scotland, Devon, Wessex, Stonehenge and Kent. We aim to give you brilliant service and a breathtaking experience.

As a family, we have enjoyed exploring England and Scotland and as we continue to expand our tours we always ask ourselves if this is how we would like our holidays to be. Showing you the history and culture of England and Scotland, arranging stays in characterful and quality hotels and inns and always being on hand are the cornerstones of our company. We provide full advice and support before during and after your holiday. All tours include breakfast each day, luggage transfers, maps, guides and the services of our friendly hosts to brief you, share their local knowledge and look after you.

We have a lot of fun getting to know our clients and we enjoy help from delightful and enthusiastic colleagues. Between us we have lived, cycled or walked in all the areas where we have tours. The routes you take have been created and honed by us over a number of years. We look forward to meeting you and looking after you and above all sharing the wonderful sights and experiences we love so much. Please feel free to ask for references.

In 2011 we became a partner of The Cotswold Green Scheme which is a title awarded to companies who can demonstrate their commitment to operating as environmentally friendly as possible. We are proud to hold this title and endeavour to retain it in the years to come.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

This is our 11th year as a cycling and walking holiday specialist. Prior to this we were in the corporate event business for 15 years. The current business started after we had a number of cycling holidays with our family which were a big success. We knew the Thames River well as we have a boat and decided it would be so idyllic to cycle along the river. So we put the two together and started with cycling tours along the Thames. These have now expanded to include other areas like the Cotswolds, Devon and kent and other activities such as walking.

2. What is your company's mission?

Our mission is to enable people to experience real England by gentle cycling or walking to the best possible standard.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We specialise in gentle cycling and walking holidays in the UK. We also now offer more energetic tours too due to popular demand!

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

The founder of the company is Wendy Carter. As a tennis player, she travelled a fair amount playing on the international circuit and at Wimbledon. With degrees in geography and environmental technology she then worked in environmental consultancy and when marriage and children came along. set up the events business and then the cycling and walking holidays.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

Most popular tour Cotswolds and Stratford gentle cycling tour. In just 6 days and at a pretty gentle pace you see many of the most beautiful Cotswolds villages, and valleys, along with Stratford and Oxford staying in characterful small hotels.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

A client group who had cycled all over the world. said their tour with us was the best they had ever done.
