Traveling with us you enjoy authentic travel experiences that provide real-life interaction with the Caucasus and its people.
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
Our company was established in 2002 as an Automobile Club. In the same year, to mark its start we organized a major event - the International Silk Road Rally with more than 50 cars and 100 participants in the sports, touring and amateur categories. Later we commercialized this concept and are now offering the same concept in the form of jeep tours and rally tours in Armenia and Georgia. We have developed other adventure travel products and our product portfolio now includes hiking & trekking, road cycling and biking, ski mountaineering and rafting as well as special interest activities such as photography and culinary tours. Currently we have offices in Armenia and Georgia with expanded presence in Iran and Turkey being our next steps.
2. What is your company's mission?
Create and market high-value, authentic experiences of the countries we work in - Armenia, Georgia, Iran and Eastern Turkey.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Adventure and experiential travel in small groups.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Hasmik Antonyan and Karen Khachatryan, they have different backgrounds - in consultancy and marketing respectively. Their idea behind founding this company came from the shared passion for travel and for the fascinating countries that they knew best.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
We have many popular packages - each popular with the specific segment we created the package for (Walking in the Caucasus Mountains package - for hikers, etc.). However, if we are to choose the single most popular package, it will probably be the Grand Caucasus Tour with Eastern Turkey extension. We believe the reason for this tour's popularity lies in its combination of must-see highlights of the Caucasus with opportunities to enjoy fascinating landscapes so different in all there countries and the experience of meeting the locals and appreciating their life and the living history of the countries first hand.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
"We can now say that "We've seen the Caucasus". For a couple of nights I was in my dreams still on the curvy roads to Mt. Kazbek with breathtaking views." - an expert from a US traveler's letter who was on Grand Caucasus Tour in 2010.
