M16129 is situated at Kenichira, in Wayanad District of Kerala, popularly known as “Gods Own Country” in the tourism and leisure industry. Our Bed and Breakfast is a real experience to stay in a seventy five years old Kerala style heritage Bungalow and tree house surrounded by acres of organic farm with spices and fruit trees.

The farm, situated on a river bank, grows cardamom, vanilla, coffee, pepper, ginger, turmeric, coconut, areca nut, rubber, banana, mango, jack fruit, vegetables. Across the river is a tropical forest with wild life, animals, birds and a wide spectrum of flora fauna.

M16129 is situated at the middle of Wayanad District, just 12 Kms from Mennangadi Junction on NH 212 between Kalpetta and Sultan Battery on Calicut - Bangalore Highway.

Accommodation is provided in family suite, deluxe room, dormitory or tree house to the choice of the customer subject to availability. Traditional Kerala style menu prepared from organic farm grown products is an added attraction.

Recreation activities include badminton and indoor games. Our friendly staff will provide you a homely atmosphere and English-speaking guides take you around to various Wayanad tourist spots for site seeing and adventure. 1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

We bought the farm six years back. We knew that the beauty of the farm lies in the history of the heritage bungalow there. We decided to preserve the traditional bungalow along with its history. We open it for our guests where they can feel like home and experience the local culture and get awareness of organic farming. Thus unearth here a new meaning for holidaying. The pearl Hiliya is there in the hospitality industry for the last six years.

2. What is your company's mission?

Our mission is to promote the beauty of living with nature along with organic farming.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We are in the hospitality industry and organic farming. Our focus is on sustainable tourism and organic farming

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Mr.N.J.George is the owner of the organization. He is basically an electrical engineer worked in the Middle East for twenty years. His ancestors owned farmlands and the passion of farming was in his blood. He loves to socialize with others. When we combine these two the birth of our dream “Hiliya” happen.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

We recommend our guests a travel package that starts from our lovely organic farm. Surely that will create an awareness of organic farming along with the importance of preserving our natural resources. Then they can proceed to various places in Wayanad. Wayanad offers the beauty of Kerala on a small canvas. From where the Hiliya Resort is situated, in a radius of sixty kilometers, you can access all that this district can offer you –rivers, valleys and waterfalls, and trails for you to explore, be it wild life, heritage or tribal culture. Wayanad has it all.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

Our guest Ann Sophie said “il y a” means “there is” in French language. So they describe “il y a” many smiles, many good food and wonderful hospitality. Our guest commends are the best compliments and the inspiration that lead us ahead.
