Welcome to Pacific Divers. Whether you're just browsing the website, thinking about coming and diving with us, or you could even be checking back to see how things are over here, we hope you find what you're looking for.
We are Steve and Jaime. I'm the one you'll be diving with, or seeing around the place. Jaime is around the shop too, diving from time to time but spending most of the day taking care of our little girl, Dylan.
Jaime is Rarotongan, and is currently taking time out from University. I have a background in Marine Science, both in New Zealand and the Cook Islands, and love to be in the water. The Cook Islands have given me some fantastic diving opportunities, and I look forward to sharing those with you.
The other faces you'll see here are Gaz and Sandy. They are our two PADI instructors and have come from the Maldives where they spent the last 3 years diving. While they're not teaching courses they also work as divemasters, and its them that you'll most likely be out diving with.
In addition to our dive staff we also have several people on divemaster internships. They are completing there diving qualifications up to Divemaster and along the way are helping out with all the daily duties around the shop and on the boat.
While Pacific Divers has been here for over 15 years we've been operating the business for over a year now. In that time we have met so many fantastic people and had some great experiences underwater. It's impossible to mention everyone who has left us with fond memories but here are just a few...
So to everyone that has been diving with us, thank you so much for choosing Pacific Divers and helping us to become Rarotongas most popular dive operator. You are all welcome back anytime and we look forward to seeing those of you who have already made plans for your return trip. |
