1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

Our M16217 name is built up since 1965 and we have been doing our professional motorcycle tours since 1999 in Viet Nam and were recommended in the international motorbike tour web sites in 2005, in the Viet Nam Television in 2008, and in the Viet Nam Newspaper in 2011. My father and his team built the name M16217 since 1960s when he was in the US Army in South Viet Nam. He was a translator for the US Seal, and always went with them to the Central Highlands Viet Nam to find the V.C and the North Viet Nam Army. He died in March 1973, just after one month that I was born. When I grew up, my family, specially my uncles who were there with him and knew everything, told me all the stories about his special team and his life. So that's why after my university, I decided to follow my father's job.

Our mission is to show to every visitor of our country its history, culture and people.

We specialize in Motorcycle Tours Motorbike Rentals.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Nam is the Creator & Owner of M16217 Travel Company. He has been doing this job since 1999. He can ride all type of motorcycles and for over the last 15 years has done over thousands of tours around the North of Viet Nam, Mekong Delta, Central Highlands, in Cambodia, Laos, and some parts of China. (You can check about these tours in Nam's Photos). He also did teaching over thousands of western tourists to learn riding the motorcycles and traveled with them from the top to the bottom of Viet Nam. Every year he rides his motorcycles about 70,000km on the roads without no need transferring his motorcycles by the buses.
