M16382 are a small, locally owned and operated tour company, based in Darwin,Australia. We specialize in luxury small group 4WD Kakadu tours, 4WD Kimberley safaris and personalized private charters through the remote regions of Kakadu and the Kimberley in northern Australia.

Kakadu and the Kimberley are the last frontiers of Australia with ancient landscapes, spectacular waterfalls, pristine rock pools and magnificent gorges. Whatever your interests are - there’s something for everyone! Fishing trips, Aboriginal rock art safaris and Aboriginal cultural tours, bird watching charters, swimming in waterfalls, an abundance of wildlife - it’s all available!

With a maximum of 7 passengers, our small group tours leave room for flexibility and allow a more personal experience. Our luxury 4WD’s provide maximum comfort in the rugged outback and allow us to take you to more remote locations, far from the crowds to “experience” the area and not just visit it...

Our scheduled 4WD Kakadu safaris and 4WD Kimberley tours have been designed to give you the best experience possible and visit all the best spots! While our Kimberley camping tours are comfortable, our Kakadu camping safaris or accommodated Kakadu tours give you the most comfortable experience in the tropical climate.

Private charter itineraries are specially designed to suit your interests and time frame. We can tailor-make programs for specialist bird watching and photographic groups, incentives and of course, families, who want a more personal experience in this special part of the world. We plan each Kakadu or Kimberley private charter itinerary carefully, to suit your preferences- whatever they may be. These safaris can be camping or accommodated and can cater for 1 to 21 people, which is ideal for families. M16382’s conduct Kakadu tours and Kimberley safaris and are locally owned and operated. M16382 is licensed and accredited under the NT transport act, Parks NT and Parks WA.

Danielle and David lead a team of experienced, professional guides, dedicated to looking after you and giving you an interesting, memorable and enjoyable holiday in Australias North. M16382 guides have passed the Kakadu For Knowledge Tour Guides course and hold current first aid certificates. They are experienced 4WD enthusiasts with a passion for nature, culture and the areas we visit and enjoy sharing this passion and enthusiasm with our clients. Guides are hand picked and trained on all aspects of the Top End and Kimberley, though each guide comes from a different background and has their own experiences and personalities to make each tour unique.

While Danielle mainly works behind the scenes (though she does lead some of our Top End tours), David is one of your tour leaders and trains our other guides. A Territorian, with over 20 years of guiding experience, he grew up on cattle stations and Aboriginal communities and gained a respect and understanding of the land and culture from an early age. He was one of the first to lead Kakadu tours, had 4 years guiding in Central Australia and has been taking Kimberley safaris to the region for over 15 years, making him one of the most experienced guides in Northern Australia.

Many years of leading our guided Kimberley tours has also allowed him to form a special relationship with the remote community of Kalumburu, who allow us to stay on their land, have a local Aboriginal guide show us around and conduct Aboriginal guided tours (private tours only).

Our tours cater for all ages and levels of fitness and can include as much or as little activity as you’d like! You don’t have to be super fit to enjoy the sights but some activities require a certain level of fitness. While we don’t want to be nosy, letting us know if you have any limitations or special needs will help us make sure you get the most from your trip and that we don’t take you somewhere unsuitable.

We can include all kinds of activities in your touring, wildlife cruises, helicopter flights, fishing and canoeing, amongst others. Special interests can also be catered for. We use only the best equipment and have fully equipped, air-conditioned Toyota Landcruiser GXL's and Holden Suburban 4WD’s with heavy duty trailers, for comfortable travelling along the dirt roads. Every piece of equipment used on tour, from the individual filter coffee cups to our large, roomy tents, has been selected by us to make life easier and to make your tour as comfortable as possible. We also carry reference material and books on board for your enjoyment.
