Jaya Bear is the founder and director of M16596, which over the last 14 years has facilitated journeys that create opportunities for deep transformative work and life changing experiences. These journeys to the Upper Amazon region of Peru and the Sacred Valley of the Incas, focus primarily on working with the Ayahuasca vine and other plant teachers, with the purpose of personal healing, inner exploration and personal growth.
Jaya Bear is also the author of "Amazon Magic - The Life Story of Ayahuasquero and Shaman Don Agustin Rivas Vasquez", and the producer of "Ayahuasca Songs from the Peruvian Amazon" a CD of traditional Ayahuasca songs which was recorded live in the Amazon jungle. She created Colibri Publishing, a small independent publishing company, and uses her background of many years of working with teachers and shamans of many traditions from around the world, in combination with her organizational skills and knowledge in facilitating these journeys.

How does one put a life-changing experience into words?
