Our company is a horse riding center at the edge of the Namib Desert hosting a full time horse riding and training center and offering horse rides into the Namib desert from one hour to five days. We do offer rustic guestroom accommodation and camping facilities. Horse-riding camps and courses are hosted throughout the year in German, English and Afrikaans by qualified instructors. For a unique horse-back holiday with awesome sceneries and stunning sunsets the client can choose from a one-hour outride to even a five day trail through the vast open spaces, canyons and valleys of the Namib desert.
The horses are currently over thirty well trained and well fed warmbloods, warmblood cosses with arab, boerperd and thoroughbreds, which all live in large paddocks, where their natural herd instincts are kept alive. All horses are trained in dressage and jumping and most still take regularly part in competitions. Our company does cater for the beginner rider as well, but to the benefit of the horses we do have a weight restriction of 90kg.
Our company is affiliated to TASA (Tourist Association of Namibia), the NTB (Namibian Tourist board), as well as to NAMEF (Namibian Equestrian Federation) |
