Our company is owned and managed by the two sisters, Cinzia and Marika Rascazzo, while all classes are given by professional cooks, sommeliers, wine makers, artists, carefully chosen to provide an exclusive and authentic Mediterranean experience of Puglia.
Cinzia earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in Boston and worked for several years abroad in Marketing and Finance roles. In 2005 she decided to move back to Lecce, her home town in the South of Italy, where she works as a consultant for a Milanese Private Equity fund investing in Southern Italy. By looking at small family businesses in niche sectors (wine and food, jewelry, hotels with golf and spas, fashion), Cinzia gained exposure to the best artisan companies in her Puglia region.
Given her extensive experience in the US, UK and other foreign countries Cinzia speaks fluent English and French, as well as Italian. She has a 10-year degree in Classical Piano from The Conservatory of Music. Marika is a Clinical Cardiologist at the Lecce main hospital. She is a member of the Slow Food Organization, an excellent cook and an expert photographer (all the pictures in this website are hers). She loves traveling and cycling and she speaks fluent English, as well as Italian.
