We are a boutique travel company specializing in leisure travel to East and Southern Africa safari destinations.
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
We have been in business since 2006, however the founder, Ms. Zighe Mwachofi has 21 years experience in the travel industry, specializing in East and Southern Africa Safari destinations. Ms. Zighe was born and raised in Africa - Kenya to be exact. She has travelled in all the safari destinations the company specializes in. She has worked with South African Tourism as National Sales Director in the USA, promoting South Africa as a destination of choice to Travel Agents and Tour Operators. Also worked as Kenya Airways Sales Regional Sales Director West Coast USA;as well as with well known and relaible Africa Tour operators in the USA as Account Excutive organizing and escorting group trips to East and Southern Africa Safari destinations.
2. What is your company's mission?
Our mission is to use our personal experience and first-hand knowledge of the African safari destinations to provide the best experience and value to our clients.
3. What does your company specialize in?
We offer small groups and custom or individual travel to East and Southern Africa safari destinations, namely: Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique and the oultlying Islands of the indian Ocean.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
The founder of the company, Ms. Zighe Mwachofi is involved with the day to day ooperation of the company since it's inception. She owns and and operates the company fulltime.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Our most popular destinations are Kenya and South Africa. Kenya the most, because it offers value for money trips and the world greatest spectacle "the Annual Migration of Wildebeest within the Serengeti and the Masai Mara.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
The best compliment we have ever received is from a client that travelled 6 week to Southern Africa, visiting - South Africa, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia... "Zighe helped us do a fabulous 6 week itinerary. She listened to what we wanted and planned it with precision and accuracy. Everyone that we met was so welcoming and warm and friendly. Will be a good salesperson about Kenya and your company in the future. Elphas was an absolute dear and our drivers, Peter and Julius were terrific.
We all appreciated going to the orphanage. The director, Lillian, is a very special lady and so were all those involved with the children. They have God's blessing on all that they do. Our group intends to do more to help the orphange. Just hope we can do all they things we talked about.
Talk Mary into doing another trip to Africa. Am sure most of us would sign up again. Thanks for all your efforts. |

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier! The trip was absolutely fantastic!!! Everything was perfect. Leopard Hills was just gorgeous and
... view more all the people were so friendly, both the staff and other guests. We saw all the animals we could possibly imagine and I just had an all-around amazing time. I think it was actually even better to do the safari first rather than the beach because there was so much to see and do, it kept me distracted and made it so easy to get out of "work mode".
Then Medjumbe was just beyond words!! Five days of sun and relaxation and again, very friendly and welcoming staff. I even went diving for the first time in my life! I hadn't planned to because I'm deathly afraid of the ocean--beach and boats are great, but I generally really have no interest of actually going in the water-- but Tony, the manager, talked me into just trying it and I loved it!! They even made a DVD of me going through the training and even of the dive itself. It was amazing.
Cape Town as well is just gorgeous--if my firm had an office there, I'd move there tomorrow!! The hotel was great--and again everyone was very friendly and helpful. The tours were great as well. I honestly haven't stopped raving to my friends about what a great time I had!!I absolutely cannot thank you enough for all of your help finding such great places to go and making all of the arrangements. I never would have been able to plan such a great vacation on my own and I'm sure things could not possibly have gone so smoothly if I tried to organize the trip myself. It was absolutely the vacation of a lifetime and I will cherish it forever. And most of all, I can't wait to go back to Africa!!!! A few of my friends have said they'd love to go sometime and I tell them all, and will continue to tell everyone I know, that if they want to go to Africa you are the only person they should call!
