Questions and Answers
We provide complete walking holiday packages based on the beautiful Peninsula in North Wales.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

Our founder, Peter Hewlett, began the business in 2002 after retiring from the timber trade. Peter had been enjoying holidays in Aberdaron at the end of the peninsula for years, and wanted to give something back to the area by starting a sustainable tourism business.

2. What is your company's mission?

To enable people from all over the world to enjoy this magnificent part of north Wales in a sustainable way that benefits the local community, so that its unique culture and heritage can be preserved.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We specialize in facilitating self guided walking holidays so that customers can walk and enjoy the scenery at their own pace. We provide detailed maps and a GPS navigation devise to make following the route as easy as possible. We also move customers luggage from one destination to the next along the route.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Our founder member is Peter Hewlett, who ran a successful timber company in Nottingham, England for most of his adult life before retiring from that job in 2000. Peter is a keen amateur historian and loves to impart his knowledge of the heritage and culture of north Wales to our guests.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

Our most popular package is the 47 mile route from Clynnog Fawr to Aberdaron on the north coast of the peninsula. This route has some of the most dramatic scenery as the path runs along the top of sheer rocky cliffs before dropping down to sandy coves. There is abundant wildlife on this section with dolphins and seals often visible.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

One of the best compliments we received was from Matthias and Britta from Germany "We have never enjoyed a holiday so much - we got engaged to be married!"
