1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

M17040 has been operating since 2000. We decided to establish our own operation as we believed that many purported "tours" were really little more than shuttle buses between sightseeing destinations. Our operation endeavours to bring a more wholistic approach to the Melbourne tourism experience.

To provide the most entertaining, informative and memorable day tours of Victoria, to enjoy ourselves and to make friends along the way while running a profitable enterprise.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

M17040's proprietors - Terry & Fiona Smit - have a strong background in tourism, having extensive international experience in the tourism industry in not only Australia, but also Europe and Africa.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

Our most popular tour is our tour down the Great Ocean Road although our Phillip Island tour is catching up in popularity. This is because most people have heard of the Great Ocean Road and the Twelve Apostles. With more and more destination marketing Phillip Island is becoming more and more known. Both tours are great and if you get the chance you should see both!

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

Just would like to say that we,me and my friend Christina, have had the best experience. We booked two tours with M17040 in Melbourne. Our experience was just perfect and wonderful.
