We are a network of accomplished artists and craft workers, who run workshops and courses in our own specially adapted studios. We offer a wide choice of disciplines including ceramics; woodcarving; chair making; bronze casting; photography; painting; drawing and sculpture; children's art workshops, and others.

The Atlantic coast and rugged mountains of West Cork are regarded as an arts and crafts haven, attracting some of Ireland's top practitioners. Our teachers are highly regarded in their fields, and most studios are in beautiful rural locations. Most of us are members of the Crafts Council of Ireland, West Cork Craft and Design Guild, Cork Art and Design or Visual Artists Ireland.

1  Jeremy Irons, actor Woodcarving with Ben Russell 2008-03-09
I spent three memorable days learning how to carve wood, and that remains for me a very rare time

I had a great time studying carving those three days and hope to get back soon. The most important point to be made is that you inspire your learners to want to ... view more know more. That may seem to some as a end product to every educational endeavor but few teachers strive to achieve that outcome. I am glad I had the chance to learn from you and feel that the assumptions I made early on from reading the articles were correct.
