1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
In 1997, through numerous waterfalls in an open speedboat, on yet another Raleigh expedition reconnaissance exercise, this time in the mountainous Upper Mazaruni River District, the idea of 17079 was conceived.

To provide unforgettable lifetime experiences while you explore and enjoy some of the most beautiful places in South America.

Tours over uyana, Suriname and Brazil.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Andre Killikelly is the founder of the company. His homeland passion began on a boy scout rainforest adventure.In 1990, with award group of five venture scouts on a three hundred and thirty (330) mile overland trek from Mabura to Lethem, forced to map through a forty mile swamp from Kurupukari to Surama junction.
In 1991, July to September, selected this time by the army training core…a volunteer on the second Operation Raleigh Expedition in Guyana. Young Killikelly was among the venturers, youths from the United Kingdom and Guyana who participated in diverse community development projects in remote Amerindian villages.
In 1995 Andre became chairman of the Guyana Raleigh Support Group assigned to indentify projects and select trained local venturers for the annual July to December Raleigh expeditions.
