Because we are a specialist company we have in depth knowledge of these areas. Our directors, Alan Baird and Oriel Southwood, have worked and travelled in Africa for over 20 years. They trained in Geology, Geography, Environmental Science, Travel and Tourism and Photography before setting up the company.
The price of our tours is ground only and does not include flights. However as a fully bonded ATOL holder we are able to book your flights for you. Please contact our U.K. office for a flight quotation. We have found flight costs to be very volatile over recent years and the prices are only accurate at the time of quotation.
We can also organise add-ons to our set tours so that you can include other Southern African destinations.
Nomad is registered in both U.K. and Zambia. Our U.K office is run by Diane and the Zambian office is run by Oriel. Our base in Zambia is at Liyoyelo Farm, close to Livingstone and 16km upstream from Victoria Falls. At Bushbuck River House we can offer en-suite accommodation and it is an ideal location from which to start and end a tour, or from which to explore the surrounding area. It takes only one hour to drive to Botswana, two hours to Namibia and 20 minutes to Zimbabwe. |
