Situated about 12 Kilometers north of Mangochi on the road to Monkey Bay and Cape McClear, Palm Beach is the First resort on the shores of Lake Malawi, and only a short boat ride away from the start of the Shire River. We have identified more than 150 bird species on our property, thus making it a bird watchers paradise. In the baobab tree next to our restaurant we have a Fish Eagle family who have been nesting there for many years.
Day trips can be made using Palm Beach as a base. Management will gladly assist you with information regarding places of interest, road conditions and any other information you require.
