1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

The business started as a franchise in 1990. I bought out all the other franchisees to have the mother company in 1996.

2. What is your company's mission?

To give the client an unforgettable experience and value for money.

3. What does your company specialize in?

Tours, safaris in Southern Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Kenya for the individual, small or large groups.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Roy van Vuren is the owner and was involved in the tourism sector since 1975. It all started when he was a travelling prosecutor for the Department of Justice in 1970. As a relief prosecutor for other prosecutors who went on leave, he spent a maximum of three weeks in one place, covering the whole of South Africa. All the knowledge of the regions, stories, etc. had to be dealt with other people.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

It is a 15 day package called: The Best of South Africa. It covers the major tourist attractions in South Africa.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

Was invited to Canada by a client who paid for everything!
