Instructor/guide Mike Wiesmeier is a former Walt Disney animator. He has been teaching drawing for twelve years, and clients have included California Institute for the Arts, Gnomon School of Visual Effects, The Getty Museum, Getty Villa, Norton Simon Museum, Huntington Gardens, Library, and Art Collections, and The Art Institutes of California.
Mike's teaching has been widely praised by his students, who find his manner and technique of teaching non-threatening, supportive, and that they follow a very logical progression from simple to complex. Beginning the summer of 2008 Mike will be offering week-long sketching tours of Tuscany, Italy.
Mike lives in Florence, Italy. His expertise in teaching, knowledge of Tuscany, and friendly/professional manner promise to make his new venture a big success. |
