O’Reilly’s has been owned and operated by the O’Reilly family for three generations and has become legendary for providing quality Australian hospitality. A comprehensive “Discovery Program” of guided and interpretive activities operates daily, commencing each day with the early morning Bird Walk, followed by a selection of guided 4WD bus excursions, interpretive rainforest walks and adventure activities through the day. In the evening guided night walks seek out some of the shyer inhabitants of the forest while audio visual presentations provide an insight into the wildlife and stunning beauty of the area. The Mountain View Rooms, plus our one and two bedroom Canopy Suites are located in the Guesthouse are tastefully furnished and have a balcony from which to enjoy your own private panorama over the distant mountains. Guesthouse facilities include a plunge pool and spa, reading room, bar and dining room, serving three sumptuous meals a day
In July 2007 a new era began for O’Reilly’s with the opening of Mountain Villas, a $35 million development consisting of 48 luxury 2 and 3 bedroom, self contained, rainforest & mountain villas. In June 2008 a new and luxurious day spa will also form part of the project, allowing guests to enjoy quality pampering treatments while enjoying the natural beauty of the spectacular surrounds. Mountain Villas and day spa will compliment the existing accommodation and experience and will add to Australia’s quality nature tourism product collection. |
