1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
The business has been operating since 2005. It started as inbound travel agent and tour operator.
2. What is your company's mission?
Our Mission - "The management and staff of M18121 aspire to continually raise the high standards we have established for ourselves to offer incomparable levels of service in a selected range of holiday and travel related products, to our customers."
3. What does your company specialize in?
We specialize in luxury travel, arranging VIP travel, Private Islands and Villas, operating luxury motorized yachts, dive cruise, surfing cruises, fishing cruises, snorkeling cruises, resort bookings and ground handling services.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
The founder and owner of the company is Mr. I. Nizam. Nizam brings with himself the accumulated strengths and an in-depth knowledge of Maldives tourism and associated industries in its entirety, acquired from his career spanning twenty eight years. When Nizam joined the tourism industry in 1982, the industry itself was in its infancy. It was during the time that has passed between then and now that the industry has evolved to become what it is today. Nizam has seen and observed the tourism industry from different angles, working in four different resorts, be it at a junior level at the initial stages. Since 2001, Nizam has been dealing with almost all of the resorts in the country, first as the marketing Director of Barefoot Holidays Pvt. Ltd., and then as the Managing Director and Partner at M18121. As the Managing Director for M18121 Nizam has attended several international tourism fairs including ITB Berlin, BIT Milan, etc.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
The most popular travel package is cruise on private luxury charter. The reason is clients can choose their own itinerary and go anywhere they prefer and can enjoy maximum privacy and make themselves feel at home.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
The best compliment we received from a client is “Thank you and we will always keep coming back” and these clients have repeated visits every year for the past 3 years.
