M18415 is an accommodation provider and eco-guiding operation providing a guests with a complete "Stewart Island Experience" Hosts Iris & Peter have between them over 70 years combined Stewart Island Experience. Peter was one time Forest Ranger in Charge of Stewart Island and as well has almost 40 years seagoing experience as a commercial fisherman and later charter yacht owner operator. His has also served Stewart Island as an honorary Dept of Conservation Ranger. Iris is a qualified nurse and was relieving District Nurse on Stewart Island for 15 years. She was a foundation Trustee of Ulva Island Open Sanctuary.
We have ben involved in hosting and guiding our guests for 10 years as eco-charter yacht operators and laterly as luxury boutique accommodation providers and eco guides. We hold Dept of Conservation Concessions for all of our eco guiding operations. We are foundation members of Venture Southland Sustainable Tourism Program and are Qualmarked by the New Zealands Tourisim Industry Association. Qualmarking is a guarantee that we carry all necessary authorities and permissions from the relevant local controlling authorities.
