1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
M18483 began operating in 1976 in Vilamoura Marina.
2. What is your company's mission?
Our mission is to show the most beautiful part of the algarvian coast in a unique perspective! From the sea you can appreciate the long sandy beaches, magnificent rock formations and some of the great sea caves and tunnels in Europe! We also provide fishing trips for those who enjoy sports and adventure. The main options are the Big Game Fishing and the Reef Fishing. Two different experiences but both very amusing!
3. What does your company specialize in?
M18483 specializes in daily cruises and sport fishing trips.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Manuel Aires was the founder of the company. He started in 1976 with his wife Adelina Santos who keeps the activity since then and now with the cooperation of their family (daughter and son-in-law).
Due to his passion for the Big Game Fishing he decided to start this business in the Algarve. Manuel Aires won several trophies in Africa and he soon discovered the potencial of the Algarve waters! Beside the fishing trips they also started with the cruises along the Western coast exploring all the beauties, sun and wonderful sea!
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
We offer cruises with three different durations but the most popular is the full day tour which includes a lunch served on the beach and a visit to the sea caves. Regarding the fishing the shark fishing is definitely the most popular.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
During all these years we've received many wonderful comments. So it is possible to choose the best! But it's always a great satisfaction to know people enjoy our tours!
