The company was formed by Ronnie Pook in 1997 to provide a high quality inbound travel service for people wishing to visit Scotland London and Ireland. Our tours are aimed at the discerning client looking for high levels of personal service staying in upscale properties including country houses, castles and resorts. Golf tours and golf events are a major area of expertise.
We also create carefully planned group tours, particularly involving whiskey distilleries, sightseeing tours for families and groups, and corporate events, incentives and we support conferences with venue finding, accommodation and transportation management issues. Everything is created to the client's specifications and no two events are the same. VIP tours are one of our specialties.
We are members of ASTA, GTS (Golf Tourism Scotland) and SIGTOA (Scottish Incoming Golf Tour Operators Association) and The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
Started in 1997 after I had previously worked 20 years in Financial Services and then 3 years for another tour operator.
2. What is your company's mission?
To create high quality customised tours to Scotland showing overseas visitors areas of Scotland that the locals enjoy.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Golf tours, family vacations, group tours, incentive trips, - matching the right locations with the right people!
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Ronnie Pook, aged 54 - 20 years in Finncial Services 15 years in Tourism. Previously held directorships in 3 other tourism companies and currently hold a directorship in one other tourism company, that is a local enterprise development where I am trade adviser to the board.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Gof tours - we do lots of golf tours but we also arrange many private sightseeing tours taking people round Scotland to see the popular sights and also the great places they may not have heard of yet.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
Our tour was a huge success and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you for arranging it for us and be assured that we will certainly refer you to anyone who is interested in a trip to Scotland.
