M18680 was established in 2001 with three conservation oriented directors with vast background for all safari holidays and ground Safari operator for East Africa safaris and selected other African Destination. We handle all kind of travel and holidays from first-class to luxury flying packages. We are members of all regulatory travel bodies in Kenya. We do car hire, transportation, hotel bookings, plane charters etc.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

11 years ago with an idea of offering completely New Concept of safari and destination management in East Africa. Having worked with various Tour Operators and raising to the senior positions, Patrick felt there was still some missing especially in how the safaris were organized, hence he undertook to explore new guiding concepts and M18680 was born. Four directors with conservation and service oriented came together 11 years ago with a new concept of Eco-friendly managed safaris and formed M18680, whose name is an almost extinct Antelope in the semi-arid desert of Kenya, this name was chosen as away of awareness and its uniqueness.

2. What is your company's mission?

To offer something new in Destination Management concepts in Kenya, Eco-friendly best service, best price and in line with our motto of "A NEVER ENDING MEMORY SAFARI HOLIDAY".

3. What does your company specialize in?

We specialize in East Africa Safaris which includes: a. Luxury Safaris b. Budget Safaris c. Camping Safaris d. Cultural Safaris e. Beach Holidays f. MICE g. Hotels and Lodge bookings i. Transportation j. Honeymoon tours k. Trekking Safari (Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya).

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

The founder and owner is MR. PATRICK ANDAYI. He has been in the Travel Industry for the last 20 years first as a naturalist guide in East Africa for 10 years, then senior planner, Manager and Director until he started this company in 2000. His company is an owner Managed company and with other colleagues they have a combined 75 years experience in this Region and very experienced in planning and handling guests. I have traveled and sampled all the routes and lodges/hotels/camps we propose to our clients and this is our strongest point. I plan from the point of knwoledge.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

6 Days Kenya Adventure Safari as it covers major parks in Kenya and perhaps the wildebeest migration. Routing (Nairobi, 2 nights Amboseli, 1 night Lake Nakuru, 2 nights Masai Mara - Nairobi - Departure).

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

		Everything was ok, the hotels were fine and I should thank our driver/guide Goddy for his lectures on wildlife while in Masai Mara.
