1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

Our company was established in 1999 by local entrepreneur and traveler, Rafael M. and has since been recommended by major travel guides including Lonely Planet, Frommers, Time Out, Rough Guides and more.

2. What is your company's mission?

We aim to provide the best travel experience in South America for independent travelers at an excellent value.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We specialize in trips throughout Argentina including Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, Patagonia, Mendoza and Ushuaia, as well as to Chile, Brazil and Bolivia. All trips are custom made and independent travelers have the freedom to travel without the constraints of a group, while at the same time being able to participate in locally organized activities throughout their trip.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Rafael Mayer founded the company in 1999. He is passionate about travel and wants to share Argentina with fellow travelers.

The Argentina Highlights is the most popular trip in Argentina. This trip visits Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia as well as Ushuaia/Tiera del Fuego.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

We were especially impressed with the smooth transfers, central location of all our hotels, their quality and most of all the hospitality of the Argentinean people. We covered a lot of ground and had no problems whatsoever. The sights, the people, the food were all incredible. We had five National Parks on the agenda and we managed to see them all. Perito Merino ... view more Glacier and Torres del Paine are incredible sights. The area around El Chalten is stunning. The Beagle Channel tour and the tour around Ushuaia were fun forays into nature. The hotels you chose for us were very nice and the staff at each had great suggestions regarding restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. They all made sure we felt at home. Our guides were punctual, knowledgeable, and lots of fun. The bus rides gave us the opportunity to see the real Patagonia. The next time we visit Argentina and Chile it will be with YOU. Thank you so much for all the arrangements. The wine you gave to us upon our arrival was a wonderful treat - thank you so much for the thoughtfulness. We love the Argentine malbacs... All of the three hotels worked out very well. The Finca in Mendoza was wonderful - a beautiful place to stay with a staff that was able to assist in making arrangements and had good suggestions for the area. Recoleta worked out well. Also, the staff was very helpful, the location was really nice. The hotel in El Calafate was in a good location - overlooking the marsh and mountains (with flamingos grazing) and an easy walk into town. We enjoyed the day tours in Patagonia and the wine tasting in Mendoza. The lunch with paired wines was spectacular - overlooking the snow capped Andes. We took an earlier flight from El Calafate because we got a call from the airline and were really impressed when our ride met us at the airport in Buenos Aires earlier than originally scheduled. Even though there was no tango festival, we got to a show and went to milanga one night, which was really fun. We also loved seeing the tango on the streets and at the street fairs. 		Having been back in Sweden for 3 weeks now after our fantastic visit to Argentina, I take the time to write you a few lines. The flights back from Bue went all ... view more very smoothly. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the services you provided to us. All the reservations worked out well, be it flights, boat and bus travel, accommodations or excursions. We were able to visit Punta del Este in Uruguay and enjoy the beaches in neighboring villages. Then we traveled through Bue to Bariloche in Patagonia. The hotel was excellent with great hospitality and location on the lakeside. After a couple of days in San Martin de los Andes we arrived in Salta after some flight delays. Nevertheless, the excursions in Salta were very interesting, Humahuaca gorge with stay over night in the picturesque village Purmamarca and the second day to the salt lake “above the clouds”. The second day we were lucky to be a small group (4 people) and to have a very good guide. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and shared his knowledge in a professional way – a great day. As you might already have guessed, we are very satisfied with our stay in your beautiful country and we would like to return and explore other parts.
