It first opened its doors back in 1987 by the Hales family. Located in the Cayo District just west of San Ignacio, the resort rests on a hillside that commands a fine view of the Macal River Valley and has the jungle at its back door. The resort consists of 25 private cottages, a restaurant and bar, recreation room, fitness center, gift shop, swimming pool, equestrian center, and a tour operation.
