However what makes us unique is that we are also award-winning professional photographers with a cross range of photographic specializations. M19013 is officially licensed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and bound by strict standards in Slovenia and the European Union.

We are also part of Židana Marela, an award-winning company founded in 2004 and specializing in organizing programs, events and activities which integrate rich Slovenian cultural heritage and tourism, creating unique experience for visiting tourists. We are based in Ljubljana, Slovenia which links the Adriatic Sea with the Alps thus representing an ideal starting point for the whole region.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

We started in 2004. we combined our years-long experience in travel business with our passion for photography and our intimate knowledge of photographic locations in the region. For this idea we received an award for best idea in Slovenia tourism, given by Slovenian Tourism Board.

2. What is your company's mission?

Our mission is to provide best service in the region. We thrive to give our guests best opportunity to make great photos and in the same time that they experience this piece of the world in a best way possible.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We are specialized in a small group photography tours in the Adriatic region, mainly Slovenia and Croatia. Also we cater to non-photography travelers who will appreciate our intimate knowledge and our love of the region. We work only with individuals and small groups that require customized itineraries.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

M19013 is privately owned company founded by Luka Esenko, Tomaz Maric and Miha Anzelc. All three owners live and work in Ljubljana which is an ideal base to cover whole Adriatic region. Before founding M19013 all three worked in tourism for about ten years each, leading expeditions all around the world.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

The most popular package is M19013 Photography Tour. Its popularity comes from a fact that it covers most of the highlights of Slovenia and Croatia in a relaxed 15-day itinerary which allows enough time for photography and for sightseeing.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

He arranged a varied and interesting itinerary and was a pleasure to be with. My husband and I were very interested in photography and Luka suggested great places to get just the right shot, brought an extra tripod for my husband and allowed us ample time to take gorgeous photos. We especially enjoyed visiting the Istria region and the custom truffle hunt and wine tasting he arranged. Our time with him went according to plan and he was quite knowledgeable about the places we visited. We would definitely use him again!
