M19075 - The Butterfly Lodge is an ecolodge that has been operating since 1988 at the heart of the Ecuadorian rainforest, 3 hours from Quito (the capital of Ecuador). Currently we are working on getting the Smart Voyage Certificate for sustainable tourism practices. Alinahui has over 100 hectares (around 300 acres) of land that is divided into primary and secondary rain forest. It is also the home of over 550 species of birds and more than 700 species of butterflies.
