We are tour operators based in Nairobi, Kenya but with stable representation both in Tanzania and Uganda.
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
We have been in successful tour business operations since 2002. M19129 was started in 2002 in Nairobi and has so far spread its operations to other East Africa Countries.
2. What is your company's mission?
To ensure that we offer good trips and our understanding of a good trip is that which lets you discover new things about the world and also lets you see the world with a new eye.
3. What does your company specialize in?
We specialize in camping /Lodge safaris, overland trips, honeymoon packages, hotel bookings, beach Holidays, air/up market safaris, gorilla trekking, and mountain climbing in both Kenya and Tanzania among other things.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
The architect of the company was Mr. Joash Were who has been instrumental in development of tourism in East Africa. Joash has been credited in the start ups of many tour companies in Kenya. Mr. Were has over 20 years experience in the hospitality and tourism industry in East Africa, which is a great asset for M19129.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
The most popular package is 8 days family holiday safaris which covers Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Mt. Kenya and Amboseli. The family gets the opportunity to be together and cover some of the famous tourist destinations.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
M19129 arranged a trip completely for us, booking the lodges, arranging a very good small bus for transportation and game drives, and arranging visits to places of interest along the way. The whole trip turned out to be a great success.
