... view more and Rio is my favorite. I appreciate he always being punctual and well organized. Upon my flight, I am always excited to see his eager face just outside the customs area. I always get a firm handshake, a big hug, his latest Brazilian joke, and a cold cerveja (in that order).
When I first met him, I was overwhelmed how well he spoke English (It was to know wonder he went to college in the USA). I was expecting a standard yellow taxi, but when I got into his new car, I was thrilled. His car is very spacious and a very comfortable ride. One day we fit 4 people comfortably. It sure does make those drives to Buzios and to the statue of Christ much more enjoyable!
As a Carioca (person born and living in Rio de Janeiro), He is knowledgeable about Brazil and particularly Rio. He always know all the best new restaurants, bars and clubs. It seems like he has friends in every hotel, restaurant, bar and club in town. I would be lost without him!
Guilherme, not only do I thank you for your fantastic assistance over the years; but my friends, colleagues, and family members that have used your services as well, thank you. You not only a great tour guide and driver, but I also consider you a good friend. I will continue to use your services for years to come.

It was certainly not our intention to underpay, we just did not have any sense of what something like that would cost. Anyway, I hope everything worked out for Vinnie. He was very nice and a great host. If he feels like he was shortchanged please let me know and we would be happy to make the situation whole.
Just wanted to say thanks for everything. Rio is an awesome place and I look forward to visiting again. I mentioned to you that a group of my friends are coming down in September. I just spoke with a couple of them and passed along your contact info, website, etc. I told them it was probably a good idea just to run EVERYTHING through you, so you should hear from them soon.
